According to renowned journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic, Newcastle are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi and have already begun negotiations with the Eagles.
The 24-year-old Guehi has become one of the most sought-after center-backs in the Premier League, also featuring for England at the European Championship this summer.
It is understood that several major European clubs have Guehi on their shortlist, but Newcastle are the first to officially open talks.
Guehi’s contract with Crystal Palace expires in the summer of 2026, with no sign of a renewal, which could make the club consider selling him this summer to avoid losing him for free.
