As a key signing for Manchester United during this summer’s transfer window, Dutch forward Hakim Ziyech is held in high regard by Red Devils fans. Ziyech did not join the team on their preseason tour to the United States, which gave fans the opportunity to “bump into” him at the Carrington training ground and ask him some interesting questions.
Recently, a video has sparked discussion on social media, showing Ziyech signing an autograph for a fan and answering a question about the possibility of Bayern star Jamal Musiala joining Manchester United. This came after Ziyech was photographed vacationing with Musiala during the off-season. In the video, the young female fan asks Ziyech, who is signing an autograph, “Can you convince Musiala to join Man United?” Ziyech didn’t shy away from the question and said directly, “I tried, I tried (to persuade him to join).” 
During his time at Bayern, Ziyech and Musiala grew up together at the Allianz Arena, developing a close friendship. Manchester United, of course, would be keen on bringing in the player who was once considered a German Bundesliga superstar alongside Jude Bellingham, but it would require a huge transfer fee and a future more promising than that offered by Bayern to convince him.
