The Sun reports that Arsenal’s Spanish goalkeeper David Raya has shared his new look after undergoing a hair transplant.
The 28-year-old Spaniard shared a video on social media of himself getting his hair done with a colleague, where he’s seen smiling as the hair transplant expert marks his scalp with blue lines before starting the procedure. The video ends with Raya beaming, happy with the results of his receding hairline.
Arsenal fans responded to the video on social media, with many expressing their optimism about the future of Arteta’s side next season. One fan said: “Raya getting a hair transplant means we’re gonna go undefeated, nothing can stop us!” Another fan remarked that Raya will become a Samson after the transplant, making him a fearsome presence for opponents. One fan even pointed out that Arsenal’s defence will be completely different next season: “Raya gets a hair transplant, Ben White gets a tan, Gabi (Gabriel) gets hair plugs, plus Saliba and Kiwior, Arsenal’s defence will be a different animal.”
Last season, David Raya joined Arsenal on loan from Brentford, where he established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper, overtaking Ramsdale. The Spanish shot-stopper helped the North London side achieve the best defensive record in the Premier League last season. This summer, Arsenal completed a £27 million permanent transfer for Raya.
