On July 29th, according to Italian media outlet Tutto Juve, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are still hoping to sign Juventus winger Federico Chiesa and are in the lead in the race for the Italian international.
It is reported that Juventus hope to raise their asking price for Chiesa by playing out the competition between several interested clubs. Aside from Tottenham, Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in the 26-year-old. Currently, Tottenham are the most likely to sign Chiesa.
Chiesa made 37 appearances (29 starts) for the Bianconeri last season, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists. He also started and played 3 times for Italy in this year’s European Championship, registering one assist.
