An Apology Isn’t Enough! TA: Multiple Chelsea Players Still Haven’t Forgiven Enzo

Enzo sparked huge controversy when he sang a song containing discriminatory content. The incident angered several Chelsea teammates who unfollowed him on social media.

Later, Enzo posted an apology statement on social media and apologized to his teammates through the team’s internal chat group, acknowledging his wrongdoing.

However, TA points out that the issue hasn’t been fully resolved within the Chelsea squad. Notably, several African-American players have yet to show signs of forgiving Enzo. According to reports, six French players— Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Badiashile, Nkunku, Disasi, and Ugochukwu— are reluctant to accept Enzo’s apology.

In addition, Belgian player Romeo Lavia, who has African heritage, holds the same stance. Despite Enzo’s apology and Chelsea’s ongoing internal investigation, there are no signs that these players have accepted the apology of the 23-year-old midfielder.

This is an issue that Chelsea needs to address to ensure the team is ready for the new season. If the unity within the team is affected, it could have a negative impact on the team’s performance.

According to the schedule, Enzo is set to join the team in the United States. Chelsea captain Reece James has also stated that he will try to coordinate and help resolve this off-field issue.
