Former Liverpool manager Klopp ruled out a quick return to coaching in an interview, and he definitively stated that he won’t be the next England manager.
Klopp said, “I’ve had absolutely zero offers in terms of work, I’ve not been in contact with any club or national team.”
But when the interviewer mentioned that Euro runner-up England might be interested in him, he said: “If I said, ‘I would make an exception for this’, it would be the biggest embarrassment in football history.”
“I will do things. I’m still young enough not to just play cricket or look after my grandchildren. Whether I will manage again? At the moment I’d rule it out. Let’s see in a few months’ time. At least for now I won’t consider returning to the dugout.”
