Turkish Media: Galatasaray’s €15 Million Bid for McTominay Rejected, Man Utd Wants €30 Million

McTominay made 43 appearances for Manchester United last season and was an important rotation player for Erik ten Hag. However, with Casemiro’s future still unclear, Manchester United hasn’t considered McTominay as a non-transferable player. The Scottish international is also believed to be leaving Old Trafford this summer, and Manchester United is hoping to accelerate their search for a new defensive midfielder.

Turkish media outlet Raydo Gol, citing reporter Küçük, reported that Galatasaray had made a bid to Manchester United for McTominay, writing: “Galatasaray submitted a €15 million offer to Manchester United, while Manchester United wants €30 million, and the two sides are far from reaching an agreement, this will be a lengthy negotiation, let me remind you that Galatasaray signed Mauro Icardi in September.”

On the Manchester United side, the club doesn’t seem to be in a rush, as there are also teams in the Premier League that are interested in the Scottish international. According to Sky Sports, if Fulham complete their signing of Arsenal’s Smith Rowe, their next target will be McTominay, and they will “significantly increase” their initial offer of £17 million. Fulham’s financial situation seems to be able to support signing from both Arsenal and Manchester United, as they have agreed to pay a total of £34 million to complete the deal for Smith Rowe.
