Romano: Arsenal reject Marseille’s latest €27m bid for Nketiah

August 3 – Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal have rejected Marseille’s latest bid for Folarin Balogun.

Marseille’s latest offer was reportedly €27 million, but Arsenal believes it is not enough to let Nketiah leave. Romano says Marseille has reached a personal agreement with Nketiah, but no agreement has been reached with Arsenal.

The 25-year-old Nketiah, a forward, graduated from Chelsea youth training and joined Arsenal U18 on a free transfer in 2015. He joined the first team in 2019 and has made 132 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 31 goals and providing 7 assists. His current market value is €30 million.
