Speaking to Sky Sports after Bayern Munich’s 3-2 pre-season win over Tottenham, Kane gave his verdict on the signing of Dominic Solanke.
“It should be a good one,” said Kane. “Solanke is a great player and he plays with high intensity and pace. For sure he’s going to get a lot of opportunities under [Ange] Postecoglou’s system. I think it’s a very good signing. I wished him all the best when I saw him in the dressing room, and of course I hope he has a great season.”
Solanke scored 19 Premier League goals for Bournemouth last season but will be the main striker for Spurs this term. They announced his arrival on Saturday in a deal worth up to £65m, with Kane having joined Bayern last summer.
