Sky Sports: PSG have held initial talks with Manchester United over Jadon Sancho transfer

Sky Sports are reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have held initial talks with Manchester United about signing forward Jadon Sancho.

The discussions have covered the terms of a potential deal, with Sancho potentially open to a move and personal terms not expected to be an issue.

Dialogue between the two clubs is ongoing, as they are also currently discussing the matter of Renato Sanches. United are still interested in Sanches, but they are unwilling to meet PSG’s asking price.

United are aware of PSG’s willingness to trade Sanches, as they have just signed midfielder João Neves from Benfica for £50m, and Sanches himself is keen on a move to Old Trafford.

United’s transfer strategy this summer has seen them keep tabs on a number of other midfielders, including Youssouf Fofana from Monaco, Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina and Sander Berge from Burnley.

Should United sign a midfielder, space would need to be cleared in the squad, with Scott McTominay the player they are looking to offload. Fulham are currently deciding whether to make another attempt to sign McTominay, after having two previous bids rejected by United.
