According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho, 21, is set to join Brentford for a fixed fee of £20m, with further add-ons that could take the total up to £27.5m.
Fabio Carvalho, 21, can operate in multiple attacking positions, including attacking midfielder, playmaker, and both left and right winger. He joined Liverpool from Fulham for €5.9m in the summer of 2022 but failed to secure a regular starting spot in the first team. Last season, he spent time on loan at both RB Leipzig and Championship club Hull City.
Carvalho is now set to leave Liverpool and join fellow Premier League side Brentford. The reports state that the fixed fee for Carvalho is £20m, plus £7.5m in potential add-ons. Additionally, Liverpool will receive 17.5% of any future transfer fee for Carvalho, while his former club Fulham will receive 20% of the fee.
Carvalho is expected to undergo two medicals with Brentford on Sunday and Monday before completing the transfer.
