The FA has officially announced that Australian referee Garrett will officiate the Community Shield.
Garrett, 37, officially began his refereeing career in 2010. He has officiated five A-League grand finals, and in 2021 Garrett officiated his first Premier League game, having refereed a total of 47 Premier League matches to date.
The Community Shield will be played at Wembley Stadium on August 10th at 23:00, with Manchester United and Manchester City facing off.
