According to British media outlet, The Daily Mail, Tottenham are optimistic about signing Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke and are confident of sealing the transfer before the start of the new Premier League season.
The report states that Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is keen to bring Solanke in to bolster the club’s attacking firepower.
Solanke’s current contract contains a £65 million release clause, and to successfully sign him, Tottenham are expected to sell Brazilian forward Richarlison, who underperformed last season, to raise funds for the transfer.
Tottenham’s first Premier League game of the new season is against newly promoted Leicester City on August 20th. They are confident of completing the transfer of Solanke before the start of the game.
