Chelsea has officially announced that 20-year-old American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina has joined League One side Barnsley on loan.
Slonina officially joined Chelsea in the 2022-23 season, playing for Chelsea’s U21 team in the second half of the season. He was then loaned out to Belgian side Oud-Heverlee Leuven for the 2023-24 season. For the remainder of this season, Slonina will join Barnsley, who play in England’s third tier, on loan.
