Brentford manager Frank has said that it is normal for smaller clubs like his to sell players to survive, and that he can accept any outcome. But he would be delighted if Ivan Toney stayed at the club.
Frank said: “I care that Ivan (Toney) is still a Brentford player, and I’m very happy he’s here. If he’s still here at the start of the season, I’ll be absolutely delighted. But I’ve said before, we’re a selling club and we can accept any outcome.”
There have been reports that Manchester United could look to sign another striker following Rasmus Hojlund’s injury, with Toney one of their targets.
