According to DO, Atletico Madrid have lowered their asking price for the player as they are trying to sign Argentine forward Julian Alvarez for a total value of €70 million. Chelsea are confident in signing the forward this week.
The 20-year-old Morata came through the Granada youth system, playing for Alaves and Atletico Madrid. Last season, he played for Atletico Madrid, making 35 appearances, including 22 starts, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist. The player is currently valued at €35 million.
