Premier League Official: Some Key Fixtures to Be Rescheduled Due to Broadcasters’ Choices and Clubs’ European Games

The Premier League has confirmed today that it will be making changes to some of its fixtures, including a number of key clashes involving the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, the reason behind the scheduling changes is due to the involvement of these clubs in European competition, as well as the influence of Premier League broadcasters in altering the fixture list.

These changes could include Liverpool’s clash with Crystal Palace being moved to an 8pm kick-off. Aston Villa’s game against Manchester United could be moved back a day, while Tottenham Hotspur’s fixture against Brighton could be adjusted, and their encounter against West Ham might be moved to a lunchtime kick-off.

One of the most notable changes is to the Chelsea vs Liverpool game. This game, which was originally scheduled for 19th October at Anfield, may be delayed, possibly even postponed until the following day. Additionally, Chelsea’s game against Newcastle United will also see a change in date and kick-off time.

Other changes include the Arsenal vs Liverpool game, which was originally scheduled for 26th October. This fixture will be moved back to 4.30pm the following day. In addition to the aforementioned matches, several other games will also be adjusted.
