Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol reports that Chelsea manager Maresca has made it clear to Sterling that he has no future at the club.
Chelsea have just announced the signing of Felix, and Sterling is now practically without a place in the squad. It is claimed that after Friday’s training session, Maresca called Sterling aside and told him that he would not be given any playing time this season, and would not even train with the first team.
Chelsea hope to sell him before the transfer window closes. Sterling has three years left on his contract, and Juventus have previously expressed interest, but there is no concrete news yet.
