Neville Predicts Arsenal to Win Title, Man Utd to Finish Above Liverpool, Carragher: Don’t Underestimate Klopp

The Sun reported that two Premier League legends, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, have predicted the champion, 2-6th place, relegated teams, Golden Boot winner and best signing of the season. Neville’s prediction that Manchester United will finish above Liverpool has sparked heated debate.

Neville predicts that Arsenal will win the title, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea will finish in the top four, Liverpool and Tottenham will finish 5th and 6th, and Newcastle will be a wildcard in the race for European qualification. Haaland will be the top scorer, Solanke will be the best new signing, and he believes that Ten Hag, Klopp and Maresca are the managers to watch. Neville believes that all three promoted teams will be relegated.

Neville explained: “Arsenal are getting better, they are getting closer and closer to winning the title, I think they will do it at some point, maybe this year. Why would Manchester United finish above Liverpool? We don’t know how Ten Hag and Klopp will perform, I think Manchester United’s midfield will support the team better, they have more depth, they have good players. I doubt Liverpool’s midfield can be consistent throughout the season, if they can perform at the incredible level they did under Klopp, I will take my hat off to them, I will admit I was wrong. But my point is that Klopp’s departure will have an impact.”

Carragher’s predictions differ. He believes that Manchester City will win the title, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham will finish in the top four, Manchester United and Aston Villa will finish fifth and sixth, West Ham will be a wildcard in the race for European qualification, Haaland will win the Golden Boot, Southampton, Leicester and Nottingham Forest will be relegated. Chelsea’s Pedro Neto will be the best new signing.

Carragher believes that while Klopp’s departure will have a big impact on Liverpool, Klopp shouldn’t be underestimated. He sees Klopp as the manager to watch in the Premier League this season. He believes that Klopp is fully capable of leading Liverpool to a top-four finish and qualification for the Champions League.
