Chelsea have announced that midfielder Ugochukwu has joined Southampton on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old Ugochukwu joined Chelsea from Rennes last summer, making 15 appearances in his debut Premier League season. He scored in pre-season friendlies against Wrexham and Inter Milan.
Chelsea have said they will be closely monitoring Ugochukwu’s progress.
