According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool have signed 16-year-old defender Alvin Ayman from Wolves.
Alvin Ayman, who only joined Wolves from Brentford last season, holds both English and Egyptian nationality and is a highly-rated prospect. He featured regularly for Wolves’ U18 side last season and even made two appearances for the U21 side.
As per Romano, Liverpool will pay Wolves a £2m compensation fee for Ayman, before signing him to a five-year deal. This could see the 16-year-old become Liverpool’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
