Ipswich Town, the newly promoted Premier League team, has revamped their stadium, with a dedicated room for referees to relax and get massages

August 17, Newly promoted Premier League side Ipswich Town has unveiled a major revamp of their home stadium, Portman Road, after two consecutive promotions to the top flight, in a video posted on social media.

This summer, in preparation for the Premier League, Ipswich have signed six new players, including record signing striker Hutchinson and midfielder Phillips on loan from Manchester City. The board has also focused on upgrading the club’s home ground, building new changing rooms for players, safe standing areas and glass screens for fans, and setting up a pre-match bar for supporters.

But most innovatively, Ipswich is going to revamp the changing rooms for the officials. They are currently building separate relaxation rooms for male and female referees, which will be equipped with massage facilities. It is also understood that a dedicated room will be created for players’ families.

On August 17th at 7:30 PM, Ipswich will host their Premier League debut at home against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Let’s look forward to the performance of the newly promoted team in the new season.
