Southampton have officially announced the signing of Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer, with Transfermarkt reporting a transfer fee of €17.6 million.
Archer, 22, is a product of Villa’s academy and an England international. He spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, scoring 4 goals in 28 Premier League appearances. Archer has also been capped by England at U21 level, winning the U21 European Championship with the team.
