August 23, Newly promoted Premier League side Southampton are set to make a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, according to Sky Sports reporter Lyle Thomas.
The Gunners are hoping to sell Ramsdale, or at least agree a loan deal with an option to buy.
Southampton are reportedly preparing to make a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale was relegated to the bench by David Raya last season and was no longer the first choice for Arteta.
Ramsdale made 11 appearances for the Gunners in the 2023-24 season, only six of which were in the Premier League. Arsenal are keen to strike a permanent deal with another club for Ramsdale, or at least a loan deal with an option to buy.
Wolves have already held talks over the goalkeeper, and are exploring the possibility of bringing him to the club on loan.
