Chelsea midfielder, Lavia, is not in the squad for their Premier League game away to Wolves on August 25th at 9pm.
Chelsea boss Maresca confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Lavia is carrying a slight hamstring issue and is unavailable for today’s game. The injury is not serious and the decision to keep him out is purely precautionary.
However, since joining Chelsea for a fee of over €60m, Lavia has been plagued with injuries. Last season he only managed to play one Premier League game for the Blues.
