Aston Villa have officially announced the signing of Dutch full-back Matson from Chelsea.
Matson, 22, is a left-back who spent last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund did not choose to exercise their option to buy him at the end of his loan spell. He is currently with the Netherlands squad at the European Championships.
Matson has signed a six-year deal with Villa. Sky Sports reports the transfer fee is between £35 million and £40 million.
