Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has reported that Bayern Munich duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have completed their medicals ahead of a move to Manchester United.
United have reached an agreement with Bayern to sign centre-back De Ligt and right-back Mazraoui in a package deal. De Ligt’s move is worth €50 million in total, with an initial fee of €45 million plus €5 million in add-ons. De Ligt needs to be registered by midday Thursday in order to be eligible to feature in United’s Premier League opener against Fulham on Friday.
De Ligt joined Bayern from Juventus in 2019 and has spent two seasons at the Allianz Arena, making 73 appearances and scoring five goals. De Ligt previously worked with United boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax, where they won the Eredivisie title in 2019.
