June 26 – According to journalist Jay Harris of The Athletic, new Tottenham signing Luka Vuskovic has agreed to join Belgian side Westerlo on loan next season.
Due to FIFA regulations, the 17-year-old defender is still unable to join Tottenham’s squad and must wait until he turns 18 in 2025 to officially join the club. Last September, 17-year-old Vuskovic joined Tottenham Hotspur from Hajduk Split for a fee of £12 million.
Vuskovic came through the youth ranks at Hajduk Split and made his first-team debut in February 2023, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Croatian top flight.
Tottenham beat off competition from other European clubs to sign the Croatian on a five-year deal until 2030. Vuskovic has represented his country at various youth levels and has already made five appearances for the Croatia U19 side. Vuskovic is currently valued at around €7 million.
