Sky Germany reports that Mainz’s German winger, Gruda, is on the verge of joining Brighton with the transfer expected to be completed soon. The move was pushed through by Brighton’s new manager, De Zerbi, who successfully convinced the German U21 international.
20-year-old Gruda’s contract with Mainz runs until 2026, and the two sides have agreed on a transfer fee in the region of €30 million. However, no signatures have been made or medicals arranged yet.
