According to German Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United haven’t given up on signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte, a loan-to-buy deal is possible to complete the transfer.
Plettenberg wrote on social media: “As reported by us last month, a loan deal with an obligation to buy is still a possible option for Manchester United and PSG in the Ugarte case!”
“The clubs previously discussed the transfer framework and the corresponding options are still on the table. PSG are not considering a loan deal with an option to buy. Manchester United and PSG continue to talk.”
