According to an exclusive report from British media outlet The Sun, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, known as the “Big Shark”, is in talks to acquire a stake in Premier League club West Ham United.
Sources say: “O’Neal is a big fan of English football and he’s been in deep talks about taking a stake in a club. He attended a Premier League game last season and fell in love with it. O’Neal is very interested in what kind of deal they can eventually reach.”
West Ham finished ninth in the Premier League last season and the club has also been experiencing financial losses. With new manager David Moyes recently appointed, the club would be happy to see some outside investment coming in.
