Fulham have announced the passing of legendary goalkeeper ‘The Rock of Gibraltar’ Tony Macedo.
Macedo’s father played for Real Madrid and Spain, while Macedo himself was born in Gibraltar, but despite 10 appearances for England U23s, never earned a senior cap.
Macedo left Fulham at the end of the 1967/68 season, having made 391 appearances for the club, the 18th most in our history.
