June 28, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United are expected to sell youngster Yankuba Minte within 24 or 48 hours to meet the Premier League’s Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Romano states that Lyon, from Ligue 1, are currently one of the highest bidders, but Minte currently prefers a move to Everton.
Newcastle and Minte are still discussing the final decision. However, Everton are still concerned about violating the Premier League’s PSR rules, and may not be able to afford Minte.
Yankuba Minte, 19, is a forward who spent last season on loan at Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists in 27 appearances. He is currently valued at €16 million by Transfermarkt.
