Ten Hag: Looking back on the last two years, I am proud of the two trophies we have won and the progress we have made

Speaking to the club website, Ten Hag said: “I am delighted to extend my contract with the club. Looking back on the past two years, we can all be proud of the two trophies we have won and the many improvements we have made since I arrived.”

“However, we must also be clear that to reach the level expected of Manchester United, we have much hard work ahead of us – this means challenging for the Premier League and European titles. In our discussions with the club, we have found that we are completely aligned in our vision for achieving these goals and we are both committed to working together to make that happen.” Ten Hag said proudly.

Manchester United’s football director, John Murtough, said: “Erik has won two trophies in his two seasons, cementing his place as one of the most successful coaches in European football. While the club highlighted areas where we need to improve at the end of last season, we also came to the clear conclusion that Erik is the best partner for us to raise our standards and achievements.”
