Sky Sports sources suggest Parker is likely to be confirmed in the role by the end of the weekend. Parker has extensive experience in the Championship, having led Bournemouth and Fulham to promotion to the Premier League. He has been out of work for over a year, his last job being with Belgian side Club Brugge.
