Following the statement made by Nottingham City Council, the club would like to clarify the position regarding the permanent purchase of the City Ground to Forest supporters and stakeholders.
For absolute clarity, we are continuing to work on conditional terms for a permanent purchase. Any decision to purchase the ground will be entirely conditional on Nottingham Forest first securing the relevant consents which would allow us to deliver our ambitious plans to significantly expand stadium capacity, provide world-class hospitality and undertake significant adjacent real estate development.
Our discussions remain confidential and the club will provide an update to supporters in due course once meaningful progress has been made.
