On July 8, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal for Bologna defender Alessandro Caldara to join Arsenal is moving quickly. Only personal terms remain before the player can join the Gunners.
Romano indicated that Caldara is now only waiting for personal terms to be agreed upon before joining Arsenal. This is apparently his preferred destination, and he has not entered talks with Paris Saint-Germain, Bayer Leverkusen, or Chelsea.
It is understood that if the transfer is completed successfully, Caldara will sign with Arsenal until 2029. Bologna’s asking price was €50 million.
