On July 11, La Liga club Girona announced that Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has joined the club on a contract until 2028.
According to previous reports from renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Van de Beek’s initial transfer fee was only €500,000, but it includes performance-related add-ons.
Van de Beek, 27, spent the second half of last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, making eight appearances for the club without scoring.
