Wolves have announced that captain Conor Coady has joined West Ham United. Notably, this marks the third consecutive season in which Wolves have sold their captain.
In the summer of 2022, Conor Coady joined Everton on loan before making the move permanent; in the summer of 2023, Rúben Neves joined Al-Hilal in Saudi Pro League; and in the summer of 2024, Coady joined Premier League side West Ham United.
Following Coady’s departure, Portuguese goalkeeper José Sá is likely to be named Wolves’ new captain.
