Price hike? L’Équipe: Lille accept Man Utd’s offer for Yoro, exceeding €50m to pressure Real Madrid

July 10 – According to the latest report from French media outlet L’Équipe, Manchester United have submitted a bid of €50m plus add-ons for 17-year-old French defender Yoro. This offer is significantly higher than the €40m total offer previously made by Real Madrid.

According to journalist Nabil Djellit, Real Madrid are still far from reaching an agreement with Lille. The player’s priority is to join Real Madrid, but Manchester United are putting pressure on both the player and the club.

According to Spanish media outlet AS, Real Madrid’s plan is to convince Lille to accept their offer, worth €35m with bonuses for appearances, achievements and other aspects. However, the Manchester club have “intervened”. Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool are also interested in the Lille player but have not yet submitted any official offers to the French side.

Manchester United appear to have different defensive reinforcement plans this summer, including De Ligt and Everton’s young centre-back Branthwaite. According to the Manchester Evening News, United have reached a verbal agreement with De Ligt.
