According to The Sun, former Manchester United player Mason Greenwood has been spotted training in Manchester ahead of the pre-season.
On Friday, Greenwood was seen training at a £100-per-hour facility in Manchester alongside his father and agent, and former Manchester United player, Shyteir. Greenwood was seen wearing a Jamaican national team jersey during the training session. However, his future for the upcoming season remains uncertain.
Last season, Greenwood moved to Spain on loan to Getafe, where he impressed with 10 goals and 6 assists in 36 appearances. He was even named Getafe’s Player of the Season. Getafe is keen on extending his loan for another year, with club president Torres stating: “If Greenwood and his parents agree, he will be back.” However, sources from Manchester believe that Greenwood will be sold if Manchester United receives a suitable offer.
Despite Getafe’s interest in Greenwood, they might struggle to afford his high salary. Several other European clubs have expressed interest in the 22-year-old talent, including Lazio and Marseille.
