July 8, according to renowned journalist Romano, Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy has joined the Red Devils’ coaching staff as assistant coach, supporting Erik ten Hag.
Romano pointed out that Van Nistelrooy is already in Manchester and is set to make his official appearance alongside another assistant, Rene Hake, in the near future.
Van Nistelrooy retired from Málaga in 2012. During his playing career, he played for Manchester United from 2001 to 2006, making 219 appearances, scoring 150 goals and providing 30 assists.
