Bonucci: Juventus will always be part of my football faith, Napoli’s decision to appoint Conte is wise

Recently, Bonucci was interviewed by Sky Sports, where he talked about his former club Juventus and Conte’s coaching of Napoli.

About Juventus and Chiesa’s future

It’s impossible for me to be emotionally distant from Juventus. It has always been and remains part of my football faith and part of my career as a player. Thiago Motta has a strong team that will be further enhanced through signings. He’ll make us enjoy the game and I hope he can fight for the league title from start to finish. I believe he’ll prove his worth, he possesses the qualities of a great coach.”

“I think Chiesa needs to figure out what he wants. He’s had difficulties physically and mentally over the years, now he needs to take a step forward and become a top player. I certainly hope he stays at Juventus.”

About Conte coaching Napoli

Buffon says Napoli can at least finish second? I completely agree. After what happened last year, Napoli couldn’t have made a better choice. They’ve brought in a world-class coach and their squad is strong and high-quality. If Conte can consistently train and prepare the team throughout the week, then Napoli will become even stronger.”

About Morata’s transfer to AC Milan

“I told him that the European Championship trophy couldn’t have gone to a better person. He has grown a lot in terms of his personality, now he’s brave enough to take responsibility, he’s become more confident and has always been able to score. I believe he’ll do great at Milan.”

About his future

“I hope to become a coach who combines all the best qualities of my coaches. I’ve been coached by many great coaches and I’ll learn something from each of them. Ultimately, it’s about results.”
