On July 20, Serie A giants AC Milan announced that they have renewed with young player Francesco Camarda until 2027.
Francesco was born in Milan on March 10, 2008, and joined the Rossoneri youth academy at the age of 7. He impressed with his technical skills at youth level. In the 2021/22 season, he helped the team win the U15 Serie A title.
Last season he played for the U19 national team, making a total of 41 appearances and scoring 14 goals in the league, Youth Champions League and Italian Cup.
On November 25, 2023, at the age of 15 years 8 months and 16 days, he became the youngest player to start in Serie A history, in the home game against Fiorentina. He also made a second appearance against Frosinone at San Siro.
Between May and June, the young striker played in the U17 European Championship with the national team, where he was named the best player. He is currently competing in the U19 European Championship in Northern Ireland with four other Rossoneri players.
Francesco will continue his career at Milan and will remain with the club until June 30, 2027.
