On August 2, Juventus officially announced that the young player Cerri will join Serie B club Carrarese on loan.
The 2003-born Leonardo Cerri extended his contract with Juventus until 2027 and will be loaned to Carrarese until June 30, 2025.
The striker from Rome is one of the many young players developed by Juventus’ youth system. He transferred from Pescara to Juventus in 2019, initially joining Juventus U17, then promoted to U19, and finally settled in Juventus’ new generation: a total of 61 appearances, 13 goals and 2 assists.
Last season, due to the absence of Vlahovic and Kean, Cerri got his first-team debut opportunity: he was called up to the squad for the Serie A home game against Udinese on February 12, 2024, and made his debut in the last 6 minutes of the game.
Juventus’ announcement read: “Cerri will embark on a new adventure at Carrarese in the upcoming season. We wish Cerri all the best!”
