According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Milan and Torino defender, Swiss international Ricardo Rodrygo is the first choice for Inter’s defense reinforcements.
La Gazzetta points out that Inter’s defense needs reinforcements due to Buchanan’s long-term injury. Coach Inzaghi’s favorite choice is Rodrygo, who is currently a free agent. The player left Torino at the end of June and can join on a free transfer.
Rodrygo has a wealth of experience in Serie A, having played almost every match over the last two seasons. He is also very adaptable to a three-back system, able to play both as a wing-back and a center-back. Inter’s owner, Oaktree Capital, has already started evaluating the transfer.
