According to Tuttosport, Denzel Dumfries is close to officially signing a new contract with Inter.
Today, Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij, two Dutch internationals, have returned to the Inter training base. Dumfries’ agent will soon arrive in Milan to finalize the negotiations with Inter.
The Dumfries contract saga is about to end. In order to reach an agreement quickly, Dumfries has made concessions by lowering his initial demand of €5 million per year. The two parties have reached an agreement on a €4 million after-tax salary per year, and the new contract will be signed until 2028.
