After leaving Manchester United, De Gea has been a free agent for the past year. A few days ago, he was offered to Genoa and Fiorentina in Serie A. Genoa, however, gave up on signing De Gea due to the inability to afford his wages. The player has asked for a salary of €2.5 million per year plus bonuses from Fiorentina. Currently, an Italian transfer intermediary is working to facilitate the deal.
