After Roma reached an agreement with Girona for the transfer of Dovbyk, transfer expert Di Marzio revealed some details of the deal.
It is understood that the initial transfer fee for Roma to sign Dovbyk is €30.5 million, plus €5.5 million in bonuses, a total of €36 million. In addition, Girona will also receive 10% of any future transfer fee for Dovbyk, but this share is capped at €30.5 million, so Roma’s total payment will not exceed €38.5 million. Girona only paid €7.75 million to sign Dovbyk from SK Dnipro last year, and the Ukrainian international scored 24 goals in his La Liga debut season to win the league’s Golden Boot.
According to the arrangement, Dovbyk is expected to fly to Rome with sporting director Florent Ghisolfi on Thursday afternoon, followed by a medical examination and signing of the contract.
