On Sunday, Inter Milan player Taremi gave an interview with the team sponsor Betsson Sport. When asked what he would have done if he hadn’t gotten into football, Taremi replied: “As a child, I used to play football with my brother and his friends in my hometown of Bushehr. Although I was young, I was happy to train with them. I watched volleyball and the NBA, but I never took part in any other sport. What if I hadn’t become a footballer? I think I would have become a policeman, maybe even a detective.”
Taremi, 32, joined Inter Milan on a free transfer from Porto this summer. In his four seasons with Porto, Taremi made 182 appearances for the club, scoring 91 goals and providing 56 assists. His arrival could add firepower to Inter Milan’s attack in the new season.
